WOOTcast is a comedy podcast by Nick and Adam. Join us as we recount comical moments from our lives, provide a sideward look at the latest big (and not so big) news headlines and generally fall into a world of self indulgent chit chat. Regular features on the show include Things That Are Crap, Feature Fight and Listener Impossible.
Every Tuesday at 9pm (GMT) we deliver you the freshest scoop of WOOTcast podcast goodness! Remember to subscribe so that you don’t miss an episode or any of the extra subscriber nuggets that we sometimes litter the feed with.
n this bumper edition podcast, we look back over
the big events of 2009... or at least the ones Google pointed us to -
taking it month by month in a Charlie Brooker style format (just with
less laughs per minute, and without a middle aged despot-style fat man
telling you what’s going on). From Heath Leger’s death to Obama’s
electric election, we’ve got 2009 all wrapped up.

Week 13, and I feel like I’m apologising for the audio quality each week. Last night I thoroughly tested the studio to check everything was working as it should be, and it passed with flying colour. But for some reasons, when it comes to the crunch, it doesn’t want to record things properly. I do insist all these silly little problems will be fixed for next week’s episode.
This week we are thrilled to be joined by the gorgeous Lea Walker. She first came into our heart in 2006 when she rolled onto our screens in Channel 4’s prime time smash Big Brother. Known for her outgoing personality and outspoken manner, Lea quickly won the hearts of the British public; and conquered many of her demons by doing so. Two years later, with a successful career in radio, and a developed media personality, Lea is still battling the same demons. We talk about her new book, ‘Living with BDD: Body Dimorphic Disorder’ where she relives painful memories from the past, and brings the issue of Body Dimorphic Disorder (or BDD) into the public consciousness for the first time.
We’ve also got all the usual WOOTcast stuff. We discuss the recent presidential elections in America, and the side effects it will have on comedians everywhere; I relive my abstract condom dream (the Freud wannabes amongst you may want to write to me at inbox@wootcast.net, and let me know what it all means).
